In An Artist's Studio, 2014

The images presented here are from the series In An Artist's Studio, 2014. The titles for the individual images are drawn from the poem by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894) In An Artist's Studio. My aim was not to illustrate but rather to allude to this poem, which references her brother, the painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and the paintings he made of his muse, model and wife, Elizabeth Siddell.

A collaborative, performative process for this studio-based project involved contributing artist and model Patricia Kirshner.

Images are available as archival pigment prints, 20 in. x 20 in., edition of 5, printed on Canson Rag Photographique by master printer Jason Burstein of Conveyor Arts.

Prices available upon request.

A portfolio of the images, 10 in. x 8 in. is also available, in a limited edition of 30.
